2018/2019 Ski Season On-Call Snow Plow/Equipment Operator - Steamboat Resorts Services by Wyndham Va

SCOPE: The Equipment Operator is responsible for the successful plow operations of the Steamboat Resorts Services (SRS) department for Steamboat Resorts, by WVR Colorado.
The Equipment Operator will help the SRS department with on call snow removal and scoria tasks. The operator will handle the designated routes and other ?as needed? calls essential to plow operations in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
The operator is expected to understand and be capable of the operations for the SRS department. The associate must be prepared to work weekends and holidays as necessary.
RESPONSBILITES
1. Safely operates snow plow, scoria spreader, and skid steer as needed based upon conditions.
2. Monitors daily snow fall and comes in ready to work based upon conditions.
3. Distributes scoria via truck and spreader based on condition and/or property requests.
4. Provides daily preventative maintenance checks on all equipment associated with plow operations.
5. Checks and fills fluids appropriately before or after each use.
6. Refills scoria in hopper and monitors scoria storage levels.
7. Provides a daily log of time and equipment use at the associations.
PREREQUISITES
Must possess a valid driver?s license with a clear driving record.
ABILITIES
An Equipment Operator must possess good equipment operator skills with an understanding of plow operations and snow removal techniques. Gives a high priority to customer service and is able to solve problems with minimum of guidance. The associate is capable of operating all equipment associated with plow operations in a safe and reliable manner. Must have a positive attitude, be people oriented, and able to work independently or with others as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
