SB - Guest Safety Coordinator - Winter Seasonal - Full Time

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:

  • Administer first-aid to injured or sick individuals
  • Respond to emergency situations at SSRC during night operations
  • Assist with the operation of the Gondola
  • Frequent radio communication with coworkers and occasionally EMS personnel
  • Must operate a snowmobile or vehicle (when necessary) and be knowledgeable of snowmobile safety and operating procedures
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Assist with building security and assist other departments in set-up and tear down (tables, chairs etc.)
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with other departments
  • Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum skills, experience, and education required for this job:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must present proof of either OEC or EMT certification by December 1, 2018
  • Must have a valid driver s license and will need to meet companies insurance standards
  • Previous lift experience preferred
  • Must handle stressful situations
  • May work unscheduled hours including days off
  • Adhere to all safety policies
  • Must possess excellent public relations and communication skills
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp s Service Excellence standards

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must stand for long periods of time
  • Must work in all weather conditions
  • Climb and work above the ground onto the lift equipment
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
  • Must read and write and communicate verbally in the English language

Miscellaneous information:

  • This is an hourly paid position and is subject to overtime pay
  • Position is required to work holidays and weekends as needed

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
