Job Description
Applicants will be considered for all Food and Beverage locations based on need, skills, experience and ability as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 15 years of age
Stand for long periods of time
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
Minimum skills, experience, education and ability required for this job:
High School diploma or GED, preferred
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations, seating, and server table rotation, required
Must have courteous and personable telephone skills
Skilled in positive verbal communications and guest interaction
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards

Provide efficient, personable and courteous service for guests
Maintain appropriate personal appearance
Greet, welcome and seat all guests promptly and courteously
Design systematic seating to distribute guests for efficient service
Respond to incoming calls before 3 rings
Maintain reservation Book
Assign guest checks to tables and servers
Assist guests with coats
Demonstrate proper phone etiquette at all times
Cooperate and assist wait staff
Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
Perform other duties, as assigned
Miscellaneous information:
This is an hourly non-exempt position and is subject to overtime pay
Position is required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
