Werner Water and Sanitation District provides water and wastewater services to the resort area of Steamboat Springs and operates the raw water sources and water treatment facilities that supply the City of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of District operations and capital improvements including raw water supply, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection, system mapping and archives, regulatory compliance, water rights and legal matters, rates and fees, billing, finance, and management of District reserves.
The GM also provides outreach to the general public and manages relations with local governmental bodies and state agencies.
The GM reports to an elected five-person Board of Directors.
